Emma Raducanu wraps up her season and will keep her coach into the 2026 season.

Emma Raducanu advanced to round three in three of the four Grand Slams during the season.

Emma Raducanu from Great Britain will not compete in her final two events this season because of a medical condition that has affected her for the last week and a half.

At 22 years old was scheduled to compete in Tokyo and Hong Kong but opted to return home to recover before starting next year's training.

These plans are set to feature coach Francisco Roig, as both individuals will keep partnering again next season.

Raducanu required blood pressure checks while playing the initial match against Ann Li in Wuhan and withdrew when trailing 6-1 4-1 on a very muggy occasion.

She again required a doctor's assessment at the recent Ningbo Open, where she fell in a three-set match to Chinese wildcard Zhu Lin in the first round.

Raducanu was also moving noticeably restricted in the deciding set versus Zhu because of the lower back problem that has affected her on several occasions in 2025.

Those results meant an encouraging season, in which she climbed into the top 30 globally after more than three years for the first time since 2022, concluded with three straight losses.

Raducanu had three match points prior to falling to Jessica Pegula in round three in Beijing last month.

The player achieved 28 victories in the current season and made it to the semi-final round in Washington, but the highlight of her season was at March's Miami Open.

Ranked first in Britain advanced to the quarters of this WTA 1000 tournament, defeating eighth seed Emma Navarro en route then falling in a three-set match to the world number four Pegula.

She was coached by Mark Petchey between Miami and Wimbledon, with Francisco Roig stepping in in time for the US Open.

The initial agreement with the former trainer of Nadal was for the remainder of the year but the partnership will continue, with a training block pencilled in late this year.

She mentioned that a three-day test period with Roig after Wimbledon was like a "black ops mission" as the meeting was kept under wraps.

The player was close to defeating top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka at their first tournament together in August's Cincinnati tournament.

Roig joined her in New York, where she advanced to round three then falling to 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
