Performer Refutes Anti-Vaccine Position Following Narrating Contentious Covid Documentary

The "Taken" star has provided his vocal talents to a new documentary that questions the efficacy of immunizations and praises one-time government figure the political figure.

The Feature's Provocative Origins

Named "Plague of Corruption," the project is adapted from a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who gained notoriety during the health crisis for claims that Covid was linked to a bad strain of the seasonal immunization.

The book's co-author, a producer, has also written books with controversial media personality Alex Jones. He recently posted praising Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Firm Statement

The team of Neeson have issued a comment firmly refuting claims that he subscribes to anti-immunization sentiments.

"Many recognize that corruption can exist within the medical sector, but that must not be confused with being against vaccines," the response states. "Liam has never been, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His long work with Unicef underscores his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response noted that the star was not involved in crafting the film's messaging and that questions about its assertions are best addressed to the producers.

Central Themes Featured in the Feature

According to the documentary, the voiceover read by Neeson features several strong statements:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "blind obedience" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "science has become highly politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown stating, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • It takes aim at pandemic restrictions, arguing they caused psychological harm that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning Covid vaccines, it references a perspective that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Background and Current Disputes

The film further cites a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was afterwards the focus of a BBC apology by the network for editorial breaches.

Last month, Kennedy called on the national health agency to change its official position that there is no link between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is also referenced in the documentary, despite a new report from the global health body stating no such link has been found.

A Past Record of Endorsement

Differing from the documentary's tone, Neeson has formerly shown strong support for vaccines in his role as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," adding that "The discourse about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The film finishes with Neeson's narration saying, "This is not the end of our journey. This is the beginning of a different phase."
